After eight days on the road, vacationing in the beautiful Pacific Northwest (pictures coming soon), we arrived home in Petaluma yesterday and realized we’d made it back in time for Cruisin’ the Boulevard, Petaluma’s annual salute to George Lucas’ nostalgic car-culture primer, American Graffiti. So bright and early this morning, Maddie, Jennifer, and I wandered downtown to grab some coffee and gawk at classic cars. Here’s what we saw…

Maddie: “If I ask nicely, do you think they’ll give me a ride?”

Saying hello.

The fuzz.

All in all, it was quite a spectacle, and a great reminder why we love this town. Now to spend the rest of the day indoors and reading, away from crowds and carbon monoxide fumes.
